AIGISRx™ gains FDA 510 k clearance for use with implantable pacemakers and implantable defibrillators.

Dr. Ali Massumi, Director of the Center for Cardiac Arrhythmias and Electrophysiology at St. Luke’s Hospital and Clinical Professor of Medicine at Houston’s Baylor College of Medicine, implants the first AIGISRx™. Dr. Massumi inserted a replacement dual chamber pacemaker into the AIGISRx™ Anti-Bacterial surgical mesh envelope in less than a minute.

September 26, 2008

TYRX launches the AIGISRx™ ICD designed to accommodate an implantable cardioverter defibrillator. The launch of AIGISRx™ ICD extends TYRX’s AIGISRx™ CRMD (cardiac rhythm management device) platform to the ICD market.
